Meet Your Trainer
Julie Meyer
Julie comes from a family of animal lovers and rescuers so her love for dogs started at a very young age. Since early childhood she's been an advocate for dogs and their well being. She adopted her first dog Kirby, from the shelter after graduating college. Kirby developed severe dog aggression and through his rehabilitation process she realized she wanted to help other people struggling with their own dogs.

Julie graduated from Cal State Los Angeles in 2005 with a B.S. in Business Administration. After college she became heavily involved with one of her local animal shelters and decided to attend Animal Behavior College, which she graduated from in 2013. In 2015-2016 she worked at Cesar Milan's Dog Psychology Center and Sunny Day Acres as a course trainer. Throughout her training career she has attended different workshops including the Missing Link workshop by Brian Agnew and Cheri Wulff Lucas. She has also completed mentor programs with both of them.

Julie is an approved evaluator for the American Kennel Club, able to certify dogs in AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen and AKC Community Canine.
